==New User FAQ==
This page is for new users to the {WIKITITLE}.  If you are familiar with [http://www.wikipedia.org|Wikipedia], then you will probably be comfortable editing pages here.  You also need to read our [EditorGuide|Editor Guide].

===How do I create an account?===
If you are not currently logged in, there will be a '''[http://www.jasonnewell.net/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Register/Default.aspx|Register]''' link at the top of every page.  This link will open a new browser window and redirect you to the main site, [http://www.jasonnewell.net|JasonNewell.NET].  Once you've sucessfully created an account with the main site, you can login to [{MAINURL}|{WIKITITLE}].

===Where can I ask for help?===
You can ask questions in the [http://www.jasonnewell.net/Forums/tabid/55/view/topics/forumid/18/Default.aspx|Wiki Forums].

===Are there any pages that I can use to learn the Wiki syntax?===
The [Sandbox] page can be used for that.  There are many good examples in the [Sandbox].

===How do I add a Category?===
If you have content that does not fall into one of the existing categories, you can request a new category [Message.aspx?Username=jason.newell&subject=Request|here].

===How can I flag a page as preliminary?===
When editing a page, click the ''Insert a Snippet'' button.  You can then pick the '''Draft''' snippet.  It looks like:

===How do I upload a file?===

* Begin by creating a new page.

* Next click "Save & Continue"

* Once you've saved the page, a directory will be created for the page that you can upload files to.

* Now you can select the file from the "Link a local File" button on the toolbar.  If you uploaded an image you can embed the image from the [image||{UP}NewUsers%2fInsertImageButton.png] "Image" button on the toolbar.

* You can also upload files via the [Upload.aspx|File Management] link in the sidebar.
